Thanks, but it's still cloudy right now but clearing up slowly... Tomorrow I'm going to pick up some play sand from Home Depot so I can cap the flourite, then what's left of the sand will go into my 45 gallon tank. Can't wait for the tank to clear so I can really see how it looks!
So with the Super Bowl going on this weekend, I really haven't gone anywhere because it's always jam packed traffic everywhere here in Denver so I'll have to wait til Monday so everything calms down here in the city! Also Lets GO Broncos!!!! >_<
Well the plan is to cover the base of the wood where it all comes together with a few Anubias Nanna, and 5-6 needle leaf Java Ferns... Basically to hide the visible zip ties that are easy to see in person, and then I'm trying to decide between moss or Anubias Nana Petite or even some of both... Here's pics with driftwood covered with each one...
So the water has cleared up... as in cloudiness is gone, but it has that Amazon Biotope look to it where it has a tea color effect going on. I'll get some new pics of the tank tomorrow after I set up my DIY Co2 system, today I spent on getting my dry fertilizers calculated and dialed in, and put into little plastic storage containers - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036C0RT8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Got them all separated by day of the week so I can grab each individual container, and dose the tank... That little 30 day plastic container storage makes it so much easier to dose my tank, if you're like me and don't trust auto-dosers then I definitely recommend getting these little storage containers!!!
id go with moss on your wood as makes lot more jungle mature looking! not a big fan of tanning in water! iv got manzanita branch wood (no tannings leeked )
aint shure about your wood and those fat blunt ends mate!
