Getting back into the hobby Pbass Tem group size

I set up a divider moved the aggressive fish to one side the other three on the other side and one of the three became aggressive and bullied the other two

Damn,that would drive me nuts.I have never experienced such issues with my cichla.

How big is your tank?

My bass beat the piss out of each other all day long. Cichla are pretty aggressive fish towards their own.

Well,the biggest tank that I have had them in in the past was my 180 which held a few 8 and 10 inchers.They never bothered one another and always stayed pretty close.
The group of spiders and orino that I am growing out currently in a 75 are from 6 to 8 inchesand have shown no malice towards each other yet.
They will be going into my 265 pretty soon.

I wouldn't tolerate too much of that for very long before I got rid of them.
I like my fish for their beauty and I certainly don't want them all torn up lol!

I have some serious PUNKxxx buttheads right now.

You my friend are lucky, I have had a peaceful group and added a punk and turned the peaceful group into a bunch of punks this is where I’m at right now one of my intermedia is a punk and now one of my broko’s is a major punk before super peaceful now punkxxx butthead

I guess I have been lucky with cichla thus far.We will see if things change once my young piquiti comes of age and is big enough to hang with the others.

Defiantly got lucky. I don't think I ever had a peaceful group of bass.

My 6 kels hate each other. so much that they did one in, now there is some peace. I think I had 3 males and 3 females/ the 2 bigger males fought all the time. The runt I think is a small male . he hides most of the time. I need to do an up date on them.
