Very nice, My lps has 2 for sale $1775.00 each. Im sure those pics doesnt do lizard justice. They really look like mini dinosaurs, especially scales on its back and red head with contrast to green body.
Ive always wanted one or two but Im a bit worried about there diet (mostly snails) and how well they thrive in captivity. Ive read captive bred is only way to go for better chance of survival.

..mine is doing excellent and he is captive bred..I been feeding him different types of food..apple snails,crayfish,cat food,crabs,clams and other snails. thanks bro
I would skip the cat food seriously, its a notorious cause of kidney failiure and liver and heart desiase in reptiles, even monitors can die from it. You dont want to take chances with either of thouse, the terapy on thouse in reptiles is just in the beggining and often futile. Allways remenbar that reptiles have less evolved kidneys then mamals wich doesant buggs them because of their naturaly low caloric diet, but when confronted with too much protein it can fail with letal consequeses.
