Have you thought about moving the FH and pleco and getting a mate for the oscar? There is nothing boring about thousands of oscar fry all over the place I assure you.
I'd switch the decor up, I get bored too and this is my go to solution lol.
Also the idea of breeding your Oscar is also a good shout, though I wouldn't suggest it in a 70 gallon as the water quality would be a nightmare to control

To me its always been about different challenges
whether water quality
when I had 20ppm nitrates, and realized that in nature the fish I keep live in 0 nitrate water
so either thru water changes, filtration, refugiums, and educating myself in the chemistry of water quality, and how to get my nitrate parameters as close to natural as possible
or breeding
as different fish bred in my tanks, the challenge became how get get more and more difficult species to spawn, and actually get viable fry.
and lastly to actually go and see, and swim with the fish I keep, in their natural habitat,
