my suggestion is an african pike, make sure it's a tad smaller than the atf. if not that then a fresh water barracuda but they're more docile until they feed. they don't swim much tho, and won't bug no one else. but they WILL be the fastest one in the tank

African pike huh??? Is that the exact name of the fish???
Or are you talking about a pike odoe?

Call me weird, but the Armatus don't attract me to much?? I like a fish that power swims!!! And during feeding that attacks like an Oscar. The Armatus that I seen (I do understand all are diff) took a few sec. to eat. I don't know, I might go with Armatus (like later since they grow so fast ), right now I'm so rapped in ATF'S.
I tried getting a few diff teeth fish, but none stuck to me like glue but the ATF'S (Vitts).

Armatus and Goliath is out the Q. They grow to fast and scared they will kill my Vittatus.

I think there is a member that has a few Vittatus with Goliaths living peacefully, it was a Armatus that sliced open the Goliath. As for growth rate, might depend on diet & frequency. Seen some Vittatus at a lfs that are slow growers
