I got a 55g from a crackhead. It smelled like smoke but not cigaretts. Fresh air is the best. Put a small fan under the stand

I had a fish with a bad crack habit myself,good luck.sometimes they just need a good intervention from thier loved ones.Other times you may have to try tough love approach and shoot them.Let me know how you make out.

Not necessarily true. I used to smoke and run air pumps in the same room for a long time and never saw any ill effects, certainly none of my fish just turning up dead.
