My fish had ich few weeks ago. To treat that I decided to take out the artificial driftwood I had. While doing that I did a terrible thing and didn't account for pleco. He was inside the wood and I didn't realise that for few days. Now my treatment is complete but the wood smells and I can't shake the dead pleco out it. Any suggestions on what I can do?

I feel terrible that it happened to the pleco.

Which hole and how big is said hole and pleco?

Well he is dead so you can't hurt him. I'd get a pair of pliers and try to pull him out.

I feel so sorry for you. What kind of pleco was it? You could try an acid dip. (don't ask me what kind of acid though) See if it'll disintegrate the fish but that might damage the decoration.
