I am looking into the world of Discus I was wondering if anyone had any advice or could suggest sites with good acurate info, on like water, substrate, food, tank mates, ect... for them? I am looking to using my 55 for them.

Thanks in advance

both good sites with a lot of info and vendors you can order discus from. that is the only place I would pick up discus. paying extra shipping is worth it.

Thank you Grayhound...I have about a month before I will be able to have the tank ready for them so I am saving up for shipping and any other cost right now. I am just waiting for my cousin to get my stand done for me (he is welding it at work). I am looking to get 6-8 I think for a 75g.

Thanks so much:grinno:

Go check out centralohiodiscus.com....
Read my post from yesterday. I went down to his fish room yesterday. I was thoroughly impressed. These were the nicest discus that I've ever seen. His fish were amazing, and the healthiest that I've ever seen. I wouldn't hesitate to order from him, even if they had to be shipped (These are very hardy). If you get any, keep me posted.

If you want to get 8, you should first keep them in a smaller tank. Discus eat/grow better when there is more competition.
If you only have the 75g, get 20 little ones, keep the nicest couples and sell the rest!
