I am getting a 10ft 2ft 2ft tank at the end of the month as an upgrade!!!! Filteration is 3 fx5s stock is

1 11inch redhead veija male
1 4.5inch redhead veija female ( i think)
1 3 inch salvini female i(i think)
1 4 inch jack dempsey male
1 2.5 inch argintea veija female(i think)
1 4.5 inch bristlenose male
1 2 inch bristlenose female
1 5.5 inch super red severum female
1 2.5 inch super red severum male (i think)
3 2 inch synodinits catfish (no idea of sex)

Would you say this is stocked or if not what else would you add, this is there for life tank

For a 300g I would say u could probably fit a couple more fish in there if you wanted. You have 3-4 fish that will potentially reach 12-14" . On the other hand everything peaceful? Those are some bug size differences from what are some semi aggressive CA cichlids

Everything is peacefull at the mo, the big readhead is the boss as you can imagion, but he only gives a little chase to basically say get away from my cave. I might get more agression if the pairs that i hope to get (sevs and redheads) breed, i was thinking of a male argintea, a female jd and a male salvini and possible a female festa ( last fish i am really unsure of as possibly too agressive??)

And yep it would be a good home for a common pleco but i already have a few messy fush and i dont need a pooing machine lol

Yea if they start to pair up and breed I can imagine the aggression getting kicked up a notch ESP if you add the argentea male and they pair up. I havent heard of festae being overly agg but I could be wrong

Sounds like it could work, just got to wait till my argentea gets a bit bigger so i can have a better guess or try and vent ( never done that), if i did add the above would that be stocked full as i do have my eye on some others... Lol

I think you could definitely add more, but I would look at how the fish you already have look in the tank and if you find yourself very satisfied I would leave be. If anything is added maybe a couple exotic plecos.

Weill i probably wont be as most of the fish are small, i like the idea of a few exotic plecos though, but was kinda thinking abouting adding a zonatum, possibly a gt and a tex, with my curent stock and the extras that i mentioned in my ither post and that will be me done!

Be careful of the fx5 filtration they move a lot of water but in my experience they don't filter very well. Ide drop one of them and add 2 emperors or something. Big fish poop big lol messy fish
