Getting Fire eels onto different foods/pellets

My old fire eel used to somehow manage to spit out the pellets i stuck into the market prawns... Dont ask me how he did it, but the bugger was very good at doing this...

Although most likely still worth trying to see if yours will except it?

Mine a stubborn little to he are all my ghost shrimp/clean up crew and blood works trying to get him on squid shrimp crab and other foods

I picked one up this weekend from my LFS that said they got him from someone that couldnt house it anymore. It's around 12" and it hasn't eaten yet. I put krill and cut up salad shrimp in their the last two feedings and he hasn't eaten yet. Shoudl i give it a couple weeks and see if he starts eating or should i try something else?

Generally no fire eel will deny bloodworms or earthworms. Fatten him up on that then try introducing new food
