In two days Im getting my gallbladder removed. Ive been in terrible pain so I will be out of commission for a while. But hopefully soon up to posting. They said its an out patient operation and not a big one. So I cleaned everything, my tanks and cages and house so I dont have to do anything. Im a bit nervous even though its a mild operation, its still surgery. So if Im not on for a bit thats why.

Join the club! I had that removed along with my spleen and appendix after I was in a bad car accident. The thing that sucked about having my gallbladder removed was that I wasn't allowed to join the Marines after high school. I guess you need a gallbladder to jump out of a plane. Go figure.

Oh Im sorry to hear that, that must have been awful. That's too bad, I had no clue you needed you gallbladder to be in the marines.

the operation isnt what should scare you, its the long recovery afterwards. even worse abdominal pain, even with strong pain meds. take at least a week off from most tasks.
Your right, it's the pain after. Resting and doing nothing. I will take a week to rest. My mom is coming over to help clean my animals, she knows how much of a clean freak I am with them. I just cleaned my tanks this morning so that's off the list.
