Anyone else getting this nasty heat . Going to be over 100 tomorrow in Boston. I have one ? . Should I take out my heaters this time of year or lower the temp. and leave them alone. I get this feeling if I take them out , they wont work when I need them and have to buy new ones.

yeha i was over 105 degrees today

you dont have to take the heaters out they will keep the tank at what ever temp you set it at the heater will go off when it gets to the set temp

I unplug mine during the summer. Head index here was about 105 today........wonderful stuff.

109

Held at 105* in NNJ for most of the afternoon. 96* now that the sun set...

Needless to say, I'm naked right now while the air blasts.

It's hotter than hell here in NJ! @ 100 degrees. I'm at work, where it's to hot to function, so I'm technically getting paid to go on MFK!!! You don't have to unplug your heater, they work by thermostat and should NOT kick on unless tempeture falls below desired setting. I actually leave my Airconditioner on in my fish room when it's this hot out.

beware the blackouts!

I leave mine plugged in I never seen the LED on an the water stays at a constant temp.

But it is way to damn hot out.
