Just thaught id add aswell i tried 2 silvers , both added at same time and similar size one got killed. tried again this time with 3 added 2 new ones now hes about to kill the other ones again , im giving away the aggresive one tho.

you are right,we have 2 Silver Dollars right now(getting 2 more soon)and a giant Bala(looking for 2 more soon).I personaly want some I.D. sharks,but dony have enough room right now.

Something I've noticed with my silver...he ignores all his tankmates, but he will sometimes have a go at my pinktail chalceus. I think it's the long silver body that attracts him...if I added a 2nd silver arowana I'd expect war.

Hmm I wouldn't risk it...plus 2 8" gars for one small silver is kind of a bad trade. Up to you of course but I wouldn't. But I love gar so I guess I'm biased.

Well I feel ther is some good advise and the fish you have mentioned compared to the tanks are extremely inadequate.
