slideing patio doors pop out very easy, but i like to replace my slideing doors for french doors that way there is no removeing anything just open both up :headbang2

Found out recently I couldnt figure out how to get my sliding glass doors out.
Really funny if you consider I built the cabin and installed the doors:duh:

Yup they would be acrylic, i wouldnt buy a tank over 200gal that is glass. :D once you get over a certain size, acrylic is the way to go IMO

Open the right door, 30 inches....
Open the left door, 30 inches .... :grinno:

Open both doors, 60 inches.... :WHOA:

That's a 5 foot wide by 81 inch high hole.

My 150s and 180 are glass. The 220, 270, 285, 350, and 360 are acrylic. All of my 100+ tanks were moved and placed by myself. The 270 just arrived this week. It's actual weight on the bill of lading was 334lbs (3/4" acrylic). I had to offload it from my truck (the delivery company brought it to where I work) haul it up the steps and across the fishroom by myself. The 360 arrived at 530lbs and I had to offload it from the delivery truck (moron didn't have a liftgate), haul it across the lawn and into the hatchery by myself. Partway across the lawn, it dawned on me that I could have an easier time if I loaded it onto the back of my pickup and drive it to the main door of the hatchery. But, I still had to get it on and off my truck by myself and drag the crate into the hatchery. It wasn't fun but, I am kinda big and have always been able to move heavy stuff. I guess all that digging I do when hunting dinosaurs pays off.

hows your hernia? dude you have nobody to help? big or not bro your gonna hurt yourself :D

Sadly, I've found no one willing to help. Or, they volunteer and never show up. I even tried paying "sidewalk temps" to help but, as soon as they saw the scope of the work they evaporated from sight. I never realized that most of the "Will work for food" sign toters were particular about the work they were offered.
