Nice mate...how you doing the pond?
well im starting off by getting the the pond (big tube lol) and then place bricks around it and stable it so its safe (just in case)and then get the fillter and then the heater what size for the heater and pump as its a big pond then ill add the water n see how it gose from there treat the water n all that stuff then ill set it up and add plants rocks very big air pump and a back up filter and then the fish and take sum pics and put them on hear lol but that will tack a long time it will take a while 2 get the house ready for it lol but when its done it will be the dogs lol n ill put a net over it 2 stop the fish jumping out
and get the fish that is in the list :D

yeh firstly get an electrician to go to your house and up the circuatory then either get 20,000w heater or heat it by gas.

Nice. Glad to hear it. Been so many delays on setting up my big tank. Mostly financial, but most of that should change soon. First priority is the house tank I am building, and second is the garage tank. The house tank will buy me some more time cause I'll have 3 large tanks to keep fish in until the big one is complete. I think it will take me another year to get the big one complete. Doing it all myself and it's a pain to find help for heavy lifting. Good thing I lift a lot, and use to compete on the state level for power lifting. lol. Mine will be 15' x 10' x 3.5', and will have a viewing pane in the front. Mine will take a lot longer than your's cause it will be all wood, and fiberglassed. I like the idea of wood because it can be removed much easier than concrete. So if I decide to move back to NC, I can rent a flatbed and take it with me. lol. My filter will be built as an exstension on the side or my tank would actually be a total of 20' long. So my sump filter will actually be 4'x 10' x 3.5'. No worries about overflowing the sump during power outages cause it will be the same depth as the tank. So the water will level out in that instance. Also don't have to worry about building a stand.

So enough about my tank, thought maybe you could take something from it. What are your plans for filtration? My filtration plan is way oversized, but I think it will be worth it cause it will double as an extra growout also. There will be a second glass panel on the filter so that I can see the fish I am growing out also. So basically only about 1/2 of the sump will actually be a filter. Might put some deep sand in the sump to see if it will do anything for nitrates.
