They are all Cryptos except maybe the HRP which is currently being scientifically discribed, The nigrofasiatus complex was broken down into 4 species and given a new genus "Amatitlania", which in my opinion HRP should fall into, but we'll see later in the year when the paper is published. Ken

The HRP (Amatitlania siquia) is the only one I was talking about.

nice list.

A. siquia is not the HRP, HRP is currently being discribed, HRP was not considered in the resent revision of Archocentrus, A. siquia is a convict type fish that ranges from southern Honduras thru Nicaragua into Costa Rica. Ken

Doing a little digging and it does appear you're right though the addition of the HRP to the Amatitlania genus is pretty obvious IMO. The original article I read was quite misleading.

I thought the same thing until Rusty Wressel pointed out to me that the convict type fish we were collecting in Honduras was the A. siquia and that he knew that HRP was being names as he povided the material the scientist was useing for the discription. A. siquia does have blue in the body and red fins, but is shaped differently than HRP and a lot meaner. Ken
