Have you thought about a simple screen/curtain/etc to cover the gap between the 450 and the 360? It could cover all of your mechanicals and plumbing.

I had the same concerns as Kevin but it sounds like its working out just fine. I would love to do this to my FX5's but I just don't see it working out as well.
