getting pleco

ok so i just got a 65 gallon fish tank my dad gave it to me cause he is getting a bigger one so i want to know what type of pleco i could get in it and what are some of the stuff i need to take care of them

plants are fine with placos as long as you feed them well. In a 65 you can go with a bristlenose or any of the smaller plecs. A sailfing will get 2 foot so that is a no no.

I would get several of the smaller plecos. You want to feed them algae wafer, cuccumber, zucchini, lettuce

Yes you need a heater, and if you get certain pleco's, such as a clown pleco, you need driftwood. You should look at the L-number list on Planet Catfish and look up some that you like, you can find dietary needs and water requirements for the plecos you like on there.
