Getting Ready to Purchase from Jeff Rapps

I've purchased from him twice and both experiences were great. His fish are top notch, they were a little smaller than expected but that wasn't a big deal. I was more interested in their quality.

I would have no problem purchasing from him or Ken Davis. I've had excellent experiences with both of them.
 
I'm looking to order a breeding pair of Mayans 6-7", a Vieja Maculicauda 4", and a Vieja Melanurus 5-6". I've had some communication with Jeff and he seems to be a really good guy. I'm glad that all of you who've responded had nothing but good things to say. His prices seemd very reasonable and his stock excellent. Thanks for your input.
 
Who is Ken Davis and does he have a web site? Actually I've ordered several fish off of Aquabid.com and from Mainlycichlids.com and have generally had a good experience with both. I will have to check Ken Davis out. It seems ordering online is the only way to get the fish I desrie as LFS sorely lack in selection usually. The best LFS store I've seen is actually in Vegas.

It seems buying online is the only way to get the fish I desire, it seems that LFS are sorely lacking in selection. The best LFS I've seen is actually in Vegas, great selection.
 
I agree with everyone regarding Jeff. Ken is also top notch. I'd recommend either based on the quality of their fish and the fact that getting a box in the mail that's full of beautiful, healthy fish is the bomb.
