i did get a good laugh reading this though haha
pardon my ignorance in this area, but how would that work - i'm being serious and inquisitive now![]()
+1 and don't laugh. I'm 6' 250 and can do more than 10 cart wheels. Yeah they kick your ass and boost your balance. BTW I was 6' 300 a while back, no cart wheels, somersaults or shoulder roles then. I went down to 250 and plateaued, all after having just quite smoking.
The biggest thing I can recommend is find a routine that YOU enjoy. No matter how great a routine you've got if you get bored with it you will rapidly slide down hill.
One thing I've seen many lifter pooch screw is flexibility. I added yoga to my routine and now go to sambo more often each week because the hurting stops by the next day not 3 days later. The other is water restriction, great for short term just before a show but a bad idea if done for extended periods of time. You look great but feel like crap.
As an office desk jockey myself I'd recommend (assuming your boss and neighborhood will permit it) walking around the building/block 3 or more times per day.
