Getting scratches out of glass?

Yeah that seems to be the best bet. How much do you think it would cost to get it done by a window repair shop? I have the same problem as her :(
 
I know this thread is old and all, but still just wanted to mention that don't forget you are basically weakening the glass by sanding it back, which may or may not effect the strength of the glass...

So if its a pretty large tank you may want to put that into consideration since the last thing you would want is your glass panel to all of a sudden smash into pieces due to the pressure of the water pushing against the glass over a period of time...

Just my 0.2 cents...

If it hasn't done that already by being etched and scratched, then removing the scratches can only keep the glass from popping...
The strength of the glass has been compromised by the scratches all that it is going to be...
