Getting some plecos

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They also get huge and territorial with each other, so it might be wise to get just one unless you have a huge tank. I have my gold spot and galaxy plec in a 120 gallon. Not sure how they’ll be when they grow out. May have to regime one. We’ll see. It’s also very important they have driftwood to have a place to hide out and call their own. They also need to eat it to help them digest other food.

Don’t know which is rarer. Haven’t seen either before. But have a goldstones sailfin pleco. He’s thriving. It’s important to give them a varied diet. Not just agar wagers. Many of them are omnivores, so mix it up. Zucchini slices, cucumber, spinach, bloodworms (mine goes nuts for these). Another favorite of one of mine was watermelon rind.
Typo... gold spot

another typo ... algae wafers, not agar wafers. By the way, I hardly feed him rose, he thrives on the other stuff, plus the leftover pellets I give to my shubunkins.
