Getting some True Hystrix next week

agreed i have two rays in a 150 for 3 months because i couldnt bring my 300 home and trust me i have it way over filtered and do two 50% water changes a week and i still worry about them... I was offered a really sweet ray at a killer of a price but i had to turn it down for the goodness of my existing rays and the hope that someone else would be able to give it a better home then me taking the chanse on something like that and killing all my rays.
we arnt here making fun of you.. we are trying to help u out... when i was ur age i didnt listen to anyone else either we are trying to teach u from our mistakes... man i sound to much like my dad... :screwy:
 
So there is nothing stopping you saving your credit. The rays you are getting are not all that anyways and if you save your credit and get your pond sorted by the time all thats done you will have alot of credit and could get yourself some decent rays flowers, pearls or tigers and you will have the space for them then. I honestly believe though that you will buy these rays anyway and ignor all the advice as you know best.

So what..? let him.. Hes just a kid.. There are loads in here that keep their fish in tanks that are to small.. Just look at those who are keeping pacus.. But nobody is doing anything about it other than telling them how cool and big their fish are.. And look that the avarage tank in here.. just gravel and a plastic ship (not talking about the ray forum).. Its sad to look at and its cruel towards the fish.. Buy a big fish that can kill other fish or mice and put it in a tank with some blue gravel and a plastic ship and your cool in here.. Try and do that on a danish forum and you will be flammed.. Bruce have gravel, driftwood and plants.. And im sure his fish love him for it.. So forget bruce and go and talk to some of the the other users on this site..

and think tank :D

when i was 15 i didnt take care of my fish as well as bruce their was no internet and no one to flame you if you was doing wrong

people do what they want if they dont like what people tell them they do it anyway or go to another forum

bruce is a very active member of this forum just give the kid a brake
 
I didn't know Bruce was 15! I thought he was a little older than that. I agree with a lot of people though. Save your credit and get a really nice ray once you get a bigger tank.. or at least once start getting paid cash and you can begin to afford one... and screw the POND.. why does everyone keep saying pond.. get a 600g TANK!
 
I don't really care how old he is, how well he takes care of his fish, or how active he is on the forum (even though hes a post whore and inputs little content)..

but I am more annoyed with people who purchase rare fish simply for bragging rights, with no real thought towards the longterm care for the fish..

If he bought all these fish and didnt SPAM the forums for attention, I would care less..
but I am getting tired of all his "LOOK AT ME" posts..

Maybe if everyone quits giving him attention, and quit encouraging him, and actually tell him he's making a bad choice.. maybe he will stop?

Thanks guys!

Were lookign itno an 8x4x4 pond now indoor too, im gonna get these rays as i dont want tigers or flowers as they are £600! Trade! Over here. And leos are about £400 each!
