I'm trying to get my 5in reticulata to eat squid and she really isn't takeing to it. Will they eventually take to it or is there something I should mix it with to try and get her to eat it.

It's a potamotrygon reticulata and the squid is frozen hikari squid that when it thaws out it is in little pieces.

i would say that its not use to is so mix it in wit its normal feedings a little bit at a time so it gets the taset fopr it

It has been eating bloodworms, live blackworms, mysis shrimp, and small pieces of krill. I have plenty for her to eat and she eats like a pig. I just want her to get eating differen't foods now so I don't have to when she gets bigger and so she doesn't get set on certain foods.

I started each of my retics on small pieces of red worms and live mysid shrimp. I gradually started to introduce small pieces of shrimp and squid. They eventually started to eat the shrimp and squid, I didn't have to mix it with the worms. I buy my shrimp and squid from the grocery store.
