getting that betta itch...

As title states, I reckon I'll get myself a new betta soon; after losing my last guy a while back.

Anyone like to share some pics of theirs? I reckon I'll try and get a delta or half-moon, perhaps metallic, copper, or red

Unfortunately, I lost the Black and Red Koi to Dropsy. The Dragon Scale just one day died. The Blue Koi was given to my Uncle. I only have one left. I'll probably rebuild later, but I just have the Green Half Moon left.

I love betta, I have a blue with white fins, his name is Ronnie.
He is fairly new and difficult to photo as he lives in a planted 65l tank with 11 black Neons, 2 electric blue gobies and a baby albino brittleness.

I had that betta itch around Xmas. So I went out and got 14 bettas.
1 King betta
8 Malay/viet plakat fighters
1 green halfmoon
1 blue halfmoon
1 red dragonscale halfmoon
1 green dumbo plakat
1 red super delta

Unfortunately all of them slowly withered away and died but 1. All that remains is the green halfmoon. Then I loss my interest in them. I figured I'm not gonna waste any more $ on bettas even though they are so nice and graceful.

LOL you don't do anything by halves!

I might even try a plakat type, but yeah hopefully it'll come to fruition soon; just need to shift some stock around and tanks, seed a filter and i should be good to go

Just yest my nephew came over and gave me a Betta for my birthday. I was happy but at the same time I have no room for it lol I ended up putting it in my arowana grow out tank lol. Arowana are 3-4" so not a big issue right now but man bettas are nice. I forgot how nice they can be. I will probably house him in a 1.5 gallon tank I have laying around for now hes one of those petsmart baby girl crown tails meaning pretty much its pretty damn small female lol

they have a lot of personality I find, and really do make ideal pets for smaller tanks in the region of 20 litres etc; it's great if you get one that flares

My fighter plakats flare constantly so I have to put a cardboard in between them. Plakats are my favorite. Maybe someday I'll give it another try.

Okay I got a question so how do I introduce a male and a female. My nephew same one that gave me this has a male I was thinking of letting him keep this one in his tank but they're known as fighting fish so will she die? I can always put a divider but theres no fun in that lol
