Getting Vegetables to sink???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have some big stainless steel wood screws that I ground off the sharp point. They work fine for bite size pieces.

But I did have 8, now I have 4, I think the fish have burried the others in the gravel. Guess I will find them again some day.

For bigger pieces, use a stainless table fork.

A rock and rubber band along with a fishing line works very well for me. Without a way to get the rock back up easily, you will have to net that rock and rubber band up later. Yam is a favorite for my plecos and it will sink by itself without weights. Also it does not cloud the water.

i bought some metal strips you're suppose to put on plants to keep down. i skewer a veggie with it and it sinks no problem
