GFCI and ULTRA- GROUND TITANIUM PROBE

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The goal is to have the GFCI outlet to be the first outlet in the circuit as it comes off of the breaker panel. Once that is done, you are good to go.

He was responding to my post and I was talking about something like this,

HAve one for each appliance to make sure your aquarium won't get completely shutdown if one item were to fail.

I see..... gotcha!

You could use it on just appliances that are in contact with the water such as skimmers, pumps, heaters, UV etc.

This way if your heater glass breaks and pops the GFCI, its not going to kill your filtration, lighting aeration, UV or anything else.

Thank you so much for explanation. I'm going to order three of them along with ground probe. Better safe than sorry ....

I couldn't tell ya. I always say you get what you pay for.

A local hardware store may have them. Home Depot / Lowes

So you using both now? Which GFCI do you use? Is it shockbuster?

I do have a shockbuster on one system the other is built in to the outlet itself and works great.
