Does anybody else find their new ghost knifes disappearing??

I guess that depends on what you mean by disappear. They do like to hide a lot and can fit into some small places you wouldn't think to check.
If it's physically not in the tank, did something (inside or outside) have an ability to eat it?
Could it have jumped out the back of the tank?

never had a black ghost knife disappear completely. but they can hide quite effectively when they put their mind to it.

lol..trust me...i checked behind the tank ..found nothing...the fish are pretty peaceful and i looked in every decoration but im just going to hope he is hiding extremely well

I had the same problem with my ghost. He absolutly loves this skeleton gator head and on the inside it has little ledges between the eyes and the top of the head because of the way this decoration is made and he somehow squezzes in that little space and chills there all day. I would double check the decor he may have found a little place to hide into. Instead of picking up the decor look inside of it and see. Hope this helps and hope you find him soon!

lol...yeahh..ive yet to find him... and i just wanna believe that he is crazily hidden..i know how good fish can be at hiding. i just hope to see him soon because they are flippin sweet!! haha. but the biggest fish possible of eating him is a columbian shark..lol and thats impossible because he is a sweetheart ! haha

I only see mine at night. Get a flash light out and turn it on after the tank has been pitch black for a couple hours. You will surprise him and most likely find its hiding spot!
