it doesn't school but a rope fish is a cool tankmate. you could try a few redtail tinfoil barb max size is like 8-10" mabey like 3 should be good i have balas and these tinfoils in an all live plant tank and no problems tinfoils like to school with anything they even follow my silver aro around

It seems bala sharks are definitely out... thanks for the pic reference groovi... those are some large fish indeed.

I guess an upgrade will be inevitable then, but a 75g is not too space consuming.

I also considered some rose-line shark, but I am not familiar with their temperament.
And, just to be on the safe side, perhaps I will cross the angels off the list, I’m not that big a fan of them anyway, but they do look interesting.

we have rainbows, roselined sharks.rams, and two plecos in our 75 and they get along great. not sure how long the rummynose would last.
