They do not like other knives, morymids, or ghosts in the tank- they hunt/navigate with electronic signals, sort of in the way sonar works (not quite)- anyway, too many signals makes them cranky-

I had my ghost knife for 1 and a half years, since I got him he grew about an inch, so they grow pretty slowly
i woulnd't suggest putting more then 1 adult BGK in a tank, i used to have to 12" BGK's in a 120g tank, they became very aggresive towards each other, had to seperate them...
