THE GARDEN STATE
i was thinkin about getting a ghost knife for my tank. does anybody have any info on this fish. it would go in a 75g tank.

They get at least 18"long but compared to most knives are fairly peceful except with other knives, they will eat small fish and love worms of all kinds. they need a hiding place like a cave or pvc tube and tend to stay hidden during the day. They do well in nuetral, soft water at 78-82 degrees f.

thankyou for yor info.

Just be careful of what other tank mates you place with your ghost. Other than that your tank size seems cool.

Can it be kept with any of these:
black aro
motoro
SAL
discus
????

i keep mine with a silver aro, rainbow wolf, p.senegalus, channel cat. and a few others. the tank seems to be balanced well no fighting. not yet anyway.

how big is that tank?

75g just finished seting up my 150g about 10 minutes ago. they will all go into that tank in about a week. when the aro gets to big for the tank its going into my brothers 300g. everything else should be fine together

Great! How big are they all?

I have a 1' black aro 1' motoro and 2' SAL in a 130g
Do you think I could put a 1' ghost knife in?

i would. the ghost knife is smaller then all. but mine happens to be aggresive when others get to close. i've got mine eating pieces of smelt shrimp and tilapia, and black worms. you should be fine with them.
