I was looking to add a few ghost shrimp to my 55 gallon to help clean up a little, would my current stock eat them?

Gouramis
Balla Sharks
Peacock eel

Your current fish would love them to death. I just am hatching a new batch of ghost shrimp and found a young one that survived by itself for 1 month.

Which gouramis do you have? The rest will not mind polishing off your shrimps for meals however.

If you can find them try amano shrimp, they get around 2 inches and still clean up the tank without immediate risk of being eaten

Oh another question, I have a small 5 gallon that i use to breed snails, as well as my step daughter has her pet betta in there, would a ghost or cherry shrimp be in any sorts of danger with a betta?

Surprising to me snails actually have a lot of waste, and thought a small shrimp would help.
