Ghost Shrimp

I never heard of anyone having problems stemming from ghost shrimp. The only problem might be cost, depending on your LFS. My ray loves to hunt for them. My LFS grows them out a little, and my ray loves the fat ones especially - it seems he goes for the bigger ones first. Ghost shrimp are also good for cleaning out any little food particles settled in your substrate also.
they are so nutritionally inferior i dont get why waste the money on them unless its a newly acquired ray that doesnt eat....
Yea I see what you mean, but its fun to watch them hunt them down sometimes, and I think my ray enjoys it. Also they clean out any little shreds of prawns that the ray might have left behind in the substrate, which is good inbetween water changes. Mostly its just a treat now and then for both the rays and my entertainment.
