Where is this located??? I also found another place that also sells 100 for $7, its called Papa Jims Tropical Fish on the South Side of San Antonio.... just to let you know. I was asking the location because San Antonio might be closer than the place your talking about.

yeah, it's in san antonio...
called fintique.. good stuff!!

well.. i may need to suck it up and head up there...

Crazy!!!! I was just there this morning, I wanted some blue cray and they were the only ones that had them for $4.98 each. I got three Im so excited, that place is about seven minutes from my house. Well good luck take care.:grinno:

try the fresh water canals and ditches.i live in baytown tx and catch them buy the hundreds with a net just sweep the weeds that are on the edge of the ditch.the shrimp i catch live 4ever in a separate tank the ones i buy usally die within a day or 2.

You live next to a gigantic game fishing hub. Are you using ghost shrimp for feeders or are they actually tankmates? If they are feeders, you can probably find something similar for super cheap at a bait shop next to the coast.

Have you checked out Fintique's website? They frequently get super exotic and rare fish for super cheap. Just off the top of my head here's some things they've had in the last month and approximate prices (some of which are still around)-- freshwater lionfish $8, archer/scat/mono $7, leopard bush fish $5, leopard lungfish $30, clown knifes $7.50, albino BGK's $7, ropefish $7, elephant nose $8, High Fin Banded Chinese Shark $18.50, Fire Eels $7.50, Glass Knife $5, Tiny TSN $6, and a butterflyfish $8.

where is there freshwater fishing in corpus christi??[/QUOTE]

There is no freshwater fishing-- don't forget that Padre Island exists for more than spring break, and Port Aransas is all about game fishing-- all saltwater-- or is it called sport fishing in the ocean?
