Ghost shrimpies with a male betta?

I have kept several ghost shrimp in a larger tank with a betta before and it posed no problems.. once in a while you'd see a shrimp getting chased, but I never witnessed one being eaten by the betta...(can't speak for the other fish in the tank though...lol)
