ahhh I totally know what infusoria is. I learned it a few years back when a friend of mine and I had a little project of breeding betta's. Nasty practice making a culture of the stuff but one of the easiest ways to feed fry.

good to know, thanks

Man I am so glad now, that I decided to ask if Ghost shrimps carries bad bugs or worms before feeding them to my polys!!!

Though I am shocked :WHOA: at the size of the evil little wormies.

P.S.
Yeah...Lol I know what infusoria is. Nasty indeed to make though...but there is always some on my sponge filter too. :grinno:

i feed many of my fish ghost shrimps but they are from my colony of ghost shrimps
hadn't seen any such worms till now but will keep an eye out for them
thanks beblondie
and can you make this a sticky as well
as many of us feed ghost shrimp to our polys and many other wet pets
and this thread could help us beware of these parasites

I'll sticky it in a cpl days after I look up some other stuff ,I meant to look it up last night but well you know a cpl of grapetini's and welllllllllllll

I find a good way to culture infusoria is to take a snail or two and add some flakes into a small jar with water. It works wonders and no mess/no smell at all. I use it to feed my danio fry.
