no no on the aba aba. Pacus would actually do very well with a giant gourami if given TONS of room and similar sized...you could get away with some oscars (probably) and some bigger cats or knives as well. To max out any of the fish we are talking some serious gallonage though, so be prepared.

!!!carefull with the pacu's, my giant Gourami chases the hell out of her and takes some nasty bites . i am hoping this will end after i get the 400 up and running .
I guess if the pacu fights back, the GG could get some serious damage... pacu teeth are... well... 
Its highly unlikely that the pacu will retaliate.
I find that these fish get uglier by the day but colour seems to improve depending on the diet its given. I've seen some very nice white GG's and Red Tailed GG's at 2ft.

I think that they actually look pretty good, it depends on the tank size, if they are kept in a small tank their face gets uglyer by being bumped against the glass constantly.Mystix212;1297494; said:
