Giant and Big ear Betta's?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That depends on several things. This is the first pair of big ears that Aquastar71 has sold, so chances are he will be selling more soon. You could be patient and wait till you get a pair that you like the conformation and coloring of, rather than just buying them to buy them. If you are planning on selling your offspring, then you need a color pattern that people will be willing to buy.
If you want to get this big ear pair, then I wouldnt do the buy now price because chances are no one will get them, and if someone else bids on them then you can just use the buy it now option.

You can't use the buy now option after a bid has been placed. And I like the coloration and confirmation of these guys is spectacular. The salamander color is becoming pretty popular. Most of the big ears I've come across have been salamander colored. I like that color.

My thing is getting the money in time. I have a deposit that's supposed to clear in the next 7 days. But these have been posted for several days and it's down to 1 day and 23 hours. Meaning I don't think anyone will bid on them. He'll probably re-post them. Maybe even at a reduced price. I'm going to ask if he has any other big ears or if he will ever get anymore.

Her confirmation is gorgeous. Nice blue coloring, dragon, nice even top line. Nice top fin the full 180 spread in the tail the skirt is nice and even. Full mask. ANd he's just as gorgeous. Nice butterfly pattern, flat top line Nice wide top fine. Over half moon spread (meaning fry will be more likely to be half moons if I paired the two of them) Their colors compliment each other. They're top quality fish. I'm sure of it. Only thing that would make it better is if he had some double tail genes for a wider dorsal fin but that's just my preference. And his skirt doesn't hang down too far away from the tail so he's pretty balanced. All in all he looks to have stellar genes to work with.

This male and female are definitely the nicest big ears I've seen, so if this is the color pattern you want to breed then I would get them. You may want to also try to get a hold of a really nice regular salamander male/dragon male to cross with the big ear female to introduce some more distinct coloring.
