they're actually being bred, I've imported them from time to time, and they're stocked in lakes in thailand. However, datnoids pulcher, are not being bred, cannot be bred, and practically extinct in the wild, and but they're not listed on the critically endangered list.

"Critically Endangered" is one step closer to extinction than simply "Endangered." The listing of a species status goes in this order...

Least Concern > Near Threatened > Vulnerable > Endangered > Critically Endangered > Extinct in the Wild > Extinct

So what you wrote makes no sense.

The OP was asking about Catlocarpio siamensis, which are Critically Endangered. He wasn't asking about Tigers like this one...RIP
