If the fish is big enough and hungry enough anything is possible ... on the show river monsters they was talking about a person was attack and killed by a Huge catfish ... trying to remember the exact episode .... I am sure some else knows the episode I am talking about

it showed pictures of a man half inside this giant catfish head first ... the catfish and man were both dead , the catfish choked to death and naturally the cause of death for the man was drowning.
