And yeah I jumped the gun the first time, sorry. I've grown pretty cynical about these posts talking about huge cool tanks. Only a small percentage of them are for real, and of those only a small percentage go forward.

Why? you went MIA for like 3 weeks after telling everyone you were leaving the hobby. It's been a month since the OP and still no pics; Forgive me if I remain skeptical.

pics to come, approx 1000 gallons (from looking at it, but i have no clue), made out of some old acrylic or plexiglass crap, built in with overflow.

story is that it came from some casino in vegas and then the ice cream store that was next to the lfs bought it and used it to *attempt to make the world's largest root beer float or something like that, when the finished the lfs got it. they were gonna make into a display tank but opted not to due to maintenance cost, size, possible leaks and they weren't expericenced w/tanks that big.

anyways it's pretty big, and scracthed up too ill have pics up in a sec.



a few things yet

-stock ideas, tank setup type, etc
-what lighting to use
-what filtration, tank's built w/an overflow but needs something else
-stand
-placement

etc...
