So i bred 2 giant danios in a 10 gallon and saw a ton of eggs- i removed the parents. I also did a 40% water change that day and after that, still saw most of the eggs. To my surprise, I also saw some red cherry shrimp babies as well as microscopic life that look like daphnia whizzing around. They day after, I can only see 2 or 3 eggs and can't see any wrigglers. What could have happened?

The tank used to be a cherry shrimp breeding ground and I thought I had eradicated all of them. I could try and move them now but they are quite small and I don't want to disturb the eggs. There were a few white eggs but most were clear.
I was just fishing the baby shrimplets out when, WHAT! A bunch of fry swam in the mug! Now every mug of water I take, there is always fry in them. Well, that has relieved me. One question; are giant danio fry big enough to eat bbs? I would gander they are, but I will wait a day before feeding them as their yolk sac is still there. Phew

I’ve never fed bbs. I’d guess they can eat them since that seems to be a very popular first food choice for many.
I personally just use a pistol and mortar to grind up flakes and pellets to feed fry.

When danios hatch (even giant ones) they're super tiny and basically transparent. Before free-swimming they'll stick to whatever they can to stay hidden. Sounds like you just needed to wait until they got big enough to see! Even some of my egg-scatterers that lay large eggs have fry that are almost impossible to see with the naked eye. The best way to see them is to get them to move - they tend to rest on the bottom in the dark, so if you shine a flashlight on the bottom of the tank afer lights out, you'll see them dart around.
