Good point. I had 3 and they all jumped out :(.... my fault though, I didn't have my tank covered well enough. But they are definately excellent dither fish. Tinfoils get way too big to be efficient dithers in a decent sized tank.
 
Dont keep with smaller fish, they pick them to death.
I know from experience haha

They picked on the smaller fish or the smaller fish picked on them?
 
Danios pick each other to death as well.
 
people also overlook the fact that giant danios can thrive in cooler waters.

i had 2 of them in a goldfish tank for quite a few years, had beautiful shiny coloring, and made a nice contrast to the slow moving, clumsy goldies i had.

I've got them in a 75. I got SDs for my other 75 though, the suicides were pissing me off. I've got it sealed pretty good now though, and I've had 6 left for a while.
