a group of chinese fishermen captured a critically endangered kaluga sturgeon in a river near the russian or mongolian border. she was stripped of all 1 million of her eggs and they are being used in captive breeding efforts

There was a recent episode of river monsters about that fish. It's almost extinct. Those fish get massive!

Its second world because it has had communist ties during the cold war, however the third world definition has evolved to high poverty rates, large population growths, high infant mortality, high disease, essentially not a high % of middle class, which china all falls into, therefor it is a third world country.

is the fish alive? it looked pretty dead to me. the one in the breeding facility looked a lot smaller.
i have a feeling that it was eaten rather than used for breeding. besides, where are they going to get a male fish fertilize the eggs.
this story seems fishy
