I'd say about 700 gallons at an LFS.. biggest private I've seen is my own.. 300..

I've never seen 700+ gallons at any lfs, around here, except in toronto, where I moved from a couple of years ago.

You all will probably not believe me when i say this but i largest private tank ive seen is -drum roll- 10 US Gallon! I mean, you could fit a Betta in there!!! Just kidding, probably 200, at a friends house
