Hi guys,

Just thought i grab some opinions on what I should do with my tank.

I got a 30cm pink giant gourami who seemed to have gotten more and more aggressive over the past 3~4 months as it gotten significantly larger. He has killed a 40cm flagtail prochilodus and just recently killed a 25cm silver shark and he is now killing the other silver sharks but he seems to only pick at one at the time. I am looking to getting rid of the silver sharks to prevent further killings but was wondering whether that will just divert the attention to my other fish like my pack of 6 silver dollars? i also have 15 clown loaches in the tank ranging from 10cm to 20cm, 15cm Saratoga leichardti (the giant gourami doesn't even bother him at all).

cheers

Eric

I would guess your silver dollars will be next on the hit list. Your clown loaches will probably be fine. This is based on experience but there are no guarantees with these guys and who they will harass.

Ya. i had a Pink GG before. It was trying kill my peacock bass flagtail. Beacuse of that I sold it last year. GG is nice fish but some of them just too aggressive.

You just need another fish to dominate the pink GG.
Nope, if it's aggressive it's aggressive, when we first got our little guy at 3.5'' it wiped out most of a tank overnight, and the fish were a lot bigger. They seem to be charge attackers and the pack a big punch.

Hopefully you can re home the others if thing start to get out of hand.

The tank does look big enough to give everyone some room, so things might calm down.

lets hope so... he has killed to date 4 bala sharks ranging from 15 to 30 cm, 1x flagtail 40cm... hope he chills out soon....
