Giant gourami in with big dats...ok?

Giant gourami about 7 to 8 inches

dats are 13 inch +
there is a royal in there, dats leave him alone.

NO!!! I dont think so, my 6" Indo harass my 5" RTGG (red tail giant gourami) rip off fins etc..

but thats to me, not sure if other dat will react that way

Maybe, maybe not. Mid-swimmers tend to bother bottom dwellers, like plecos and cats, less then they would another mid-swimmer.

i have a 8 to 9 inch pleco in the tank with the dats right now too.

Oh sorry lol my last response was because I thought iyou wrote Royal Pleco, not Royal Clown. The bottom dweller thing does tend to be true most of the time though.

If you really want the GG then get it. Dats are not known to be too aggressive to other fish. Just watch out and have another tank set up, or divider ready just incase.

IME: i wouldnt recommend it...

my 2.5" indo dat shows my 6" RTGG who's boss all the time (bumping him when he gets too close)...it's weird the indo is so small compared to the RTGG..i though it would have been the other way around? ...i'll wait it out though...i could imagine what would happen if my indo was bigger than my RTGG!

also, its funny that my dat doesnt do it to my Jar...or maybe its just b/c he knows better?
