I have 8 Osphronemus laticlavius and 1 Osphronemus goramy. The biggest are just over 24".

The two 24" plus Osphronemus laticlavius are in the 15K with the 16-18" Osphronemus goramy. The other six 7-8" Osphronemus laticlavius are in 180 & 225 g tanks.

Ive had a guy look at my new GG who specailises in them and he reckons its a new species thats been imported its a reignoal variant of the red fin called black backed.

Is this a recognized strain eg. Osphronemus X or just a regional variant?

Imagine having a public sized aquarium in your house, then add another and x tanks on top, truly amazing monster fish keeping!

Insanity is how people not in the hobby would perceive it. Building an aquarium as an addition to the house makes perfect sense to me
