If I could get my fish to eat Cheese I would wrap it in some fresh Basil and a bit of Lemon Grass, let them woof it all down and then take them over to the Grill and enjoy them the way they do in there native Asia, with a cold Sapporo.

Dude(US English;)),

What's your problem with cheese? The fish love it especially when fishing for carp and for the humans it's the best food in the world!

If your a cooking then can we could all come over and enjoy a cold sapporo(just googled it, japanese lager?) with you, red tails for lunch anyone?

All is well on the gg front. He's started finishing off the remaining discus cubes, he's good like that and I thought the dog was a good finisher of old food stocks.... If I can just get the cats of flake all the better

Ok so what kind of Cheese suits Sir George's taste? Enlighten us Americans as too the best Cheese for feeding fish. I'll feed them the Cheese and I'll drink that Sapporo, I got a feeling that I'm going to have too start using filter media in my canister filter after this.

Just what I needed more ways too spend more money.:swear:

Best way to do it with the least mess is, get some cheddar and grate it. Then roll up the grated cheese into some roughed up pea sized balls and feed, they will eat it like pellets.

I don't feed it a lot as it does mess the tank up a bit but I'm sure you filters will cope with a small amount.

Surely everyone has a bit of cheese in the fridge if not maybe I've found the one thing in America thats dearer in the US then here!

Ok everyone my place this weekend for a couple of cold brews and some chedder cheese puff-stuffed rtgg.

Ok I'll give the cheese a try this weekend right before the water change. I know the parrot will eat it, they eat anything. If they eat it and not just spit it throughout the tank I'll ship you a bottle of Seachem Flourish or Trace.:clap

Took me ages to find my 3d glasses so I could read the blue:ROFL:
Dam I'm working this weekend, so I can't make the beer and fish party, plus there's the small problem of the flight costs, I doubt Mrs Y would let me go on my own to keep the cost down;)

We'll have to have a virtual beer instead:cheers:

Address pmd
I'll need yours for that bottle of cognac I own you....

Just to stay on topic, mango is the food of choice at the moment..

Mango really now that would be a blessing in a few months, when they 5 Mango trees we have in Florida start producing again. You know its starting to seem as I just need to start a second shopping list for my RTGG why even go to the LFS for them. Seems like there Produce section of the Local Pathmart will do just fine.

But I really shouldn't be complaining Spring just just around the corner. And then I can just fire up the ol' Tequila Shovel grab a few kids from the building and go worming. My RTGG Love those Red Wigglers and Night Crawlers and occasional beetle or beetle grub.

The only need for a LFS for our tank is for a bit of flake for the baby moonlights apart from that it's all produce. Very handy if you've mango trees nearby:D
