I'm not happy with it but I could play around with it forever. It's the red flare that's the pain, now matter how many channel mixer layers I use I still can't get it perfect
Quoting myself is odd I know but, Seriously though piggy if you've got something really good of, well piggy that needs a little bit of work send me original to work with and I'll see what I can do.
Anyway, back on topic after a few pages that are very broken up with posts:
My tank seems to be constantly cloudy due to huge amount of food being eaten/waste produced(and no I'm not feeding cheese Tequila). I'm water changing about 20-25% a week. Does anyone think that adding a bigger/another canister is going over the top. Baring in mind the canister I have now is rated at 1.5 times the tank volume + I have the internal as well?

I believe the tank is bare-bottomed and this accounts for the water cloudiness... indeed, the waste materials cannot get trapped in the substrate layer and as such, get constantly stirred up by the movement of the fish and the water flow from the filters and remain in the water column.
Substrate would sure reduce your cloudiness problem, my friend.
If you insist of keeping the bottom bare, getting an additional canister would be nice - especially if you dedicate it to mechanical filtration... but it won't solve the problem completely.
You can also use the trick explained by Pacu Mom in one of her threads - Poop Suckers. These are intake tubes from the canisters reaching to the bottom of the bare bottom and which will suck the waste materials. (I've tried this method and it works wonderfully - you need to put the intake tubes on one side and a powerhead on another which will push the dirt towards the intake tube).
You could also increase your water changes to 50% - 60% per week. And vacuum the bottom of the tank every 2 days to remove any dirt that might get into the water column. (Please note that this wouldn't be necessary with the Poop Sucker method).

You would'nt need to buy another expensive filter, and extend it's intakes to the bottom and purchase a powerhead to blow the crap around the tank more. What you really need to do is GET OFF THIS BUBB (BUTT UGLY BARE BOTTOM) nonsense and add a substrate.
But since you are just swimming in cash, why not go out and buy a few more canister filters and see if that solves your problem as easily and quickly as just adding 2 inch or deeper layer of gravel. Better yet why not buy a Diotom filter, that's keep your tank crystal clear.
